Hair Transplant – Everything You Need to Know
A hair transplant is a surgical procedure in which hair follicles are moved from areas of the scalp with dense growth to areas that are bald or thinning. This surgery restores a full head of hair in most cases, but multiple sessions may be required for maximum results. The best method of getting a hair transplant is by visiting a medical practitioner who has extensive training and experience in carrying out this type of surgery.압구정모발이식
Before the procedure begins, your surgeon will sterilize the area and inject you with a local anesthetic. Some patients choose sedation for added comfort, but this is optional. Once you are numb, your surgeon will select one of two methods: follicular unit strip surgery (FUTS) or follicular unit extraction (FUE). With FUSS, your doctor removes a 6- to 10-inch strip of skin from the back of your head. This area is hidden in the dense hair on the back of your head, and it will not be noticeable once the hair is transplanted. With FUE, your doctor uses a tool to remove individual hair follicles from the scalp and implant them in the bald or thinning areas of your scalp.

After the procedure is over, your surgeon will place a bandage or gauze on the site of your surgery to prevent infection and blood loss. You will be able to remove the bandage or gauze after 1 to 2 weeks, but you should not touch the grafts until then. Your doctor will give you a spray to use on the transplanted hair to help it grow healthy and strong.강남헤어라인
It is normal to lose some of the newly transplanted hair in the first few months after surgery. However, this is not permanent and will be replaced by new, healthy follicles. Some people also have inflammation or an infection of the follicles after surgery, but these symptoms usually resolve on their own.
It is important to follow your doctor’s postprocedure instructions, including taking antibiotics and avoiding strenuous activity. You should also avoid hair dyes and any other chemicals that might harm your grafts. It is also important to visit your doctor regularly for follow-up treatments, like platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy. This will improve your results and increase your chances of a successful transplant.
