What Is a Business Item?
Business item is a term used to describe goods and services that companies sell to other businesses, or non-consumers. Examples would include supplies like office products, or equipment needed for a project, like a custom-made sink for an industrial kitchen installation. Generally, these items are not inventoried at the company level but rather tracked through the supply chain and sold directly to customers. Non-inventory items can also include intangible goods and services, like conference fees or software licenses, which are not tracked at the company level but invoiced to clients.소자본사업아이템
Item category
Use this field to classify the item so that the system only performs relevant functions. For example, you can select no weight calculations> to ensure that the item does not take part in price calculation and packaging. You can also indicate whether the item is a text or value item or packaging, and if it is relevant for delivery (item category TAN). This means that the item is included in the list of delivery components and the system copies it into the delivery note when you create schedule lines for this sales document.
Usually, the item categories defined in standard systems meet your needs. However, in some cases you may want to use your own item categories. You can configure these in the item category assignment settings.솔솥
